I have been an anime fan for years, and still enjoy watching Japanese animation films and series today (counting both old and new titles), even though there's not as much new titles that catch my interest. As for you the fans, do you feel that Japanese animation as a medium of entertainment has jumped the shark? Basically speaking, do you feel that the medium itself has outlived its own cool in terms of quality and imagination, and if so, what anime series and/or films you saw would you say made you feel that the overall coolness of the medium had died?
