As I see there is a thread up for favorite Yamato characters now, I'll start with: who is your favorite Yamato character or characters, and why?
I had a poll like this some years ago on my New Voyages fanfic site and got a very interesting result for most popular character. Wonder if it'll be the same character here or someone different?
